We are a privately owned and local general contractor, specializing in road building and civil construction and have been operating in British Columbia for over 70 years. Jack Cewe Construction Ltd. (CEWE) provides all aspects of road construction including excavation, placing gravel, base and sub-base, underground utility installation, concrete slabs, sidewalks and curbs, and of course asphalt paving and milling.
CEWE is seeking a Traffic Management Planner/Designer to join our team! In this role you will design traffic management plans using Invarion Rapid Plan software. You will have experience in traffic control working in civil construction and road building.
What You’ll Do:
· Create compliant traffic management plans in Invarion RapidPlan for a variety of project scopes.
· Partner with project teams to confirm site conditions, phasing, access needs, and project requirements.
· Ensure traffic control measures meet applicable standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
· Prepare, submit, and track traffic control permit applications with Lower Mainland municipalities.
· Compile complete, accurate permit packages (plans, supporting documents, and required information).
· Monitor permit progress, follow up proactively, and help resolve questions, issues, or delays.
· Maintain organized records of plans, correspondence, approvals, and permit-related documentation.
· Provide clear updates to stakeholders and support reporting on permit status and project timelines.
· Contribute to an inclusive, respectful workplace that values different perspectives and fosters belonging.
What You Bring:
· Experience in creating traffic management plans and coordinating permitting.
· Proficiency with Invarion RapidPlan.
· Working knowledge of traffic control practices, regulations, and safety standards.
· Strong attention to detail and administrative skills, with the ability to manage accurate documentation.
· Excellent organization and time-management skills to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
· Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable responding to municipal inquiries professionally.
· Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with changing project needs and municipal requirements.
Pay: From $62,000.00 per year
